april collection updates / 5/6/2025

im not gonna lie that i DID end up forgetting to blog for a bit, lots of personal stuff happened AND im a lazy bum as always. but lets get into it!

ive actually had these items and their pictures posted (im just doing cookie run charms first) somewhere, but SOMEHOW i forgot to even post about them. i have no clue why but i just did, so here they are: pretty late to the party. theyre candy apple and pure vanilla cookie! and some. other guy i wonder what his name is

the charms themselves are passable, theyre just renders of whatever skins/cookies came out, although something ive been noticing lately is that whenever the design is big... they end up being pretty small, or at least feel small, which kind of disappoints me. but i get why since i recall bigger acrylic charms usually end up expensive.

the actual new things i didnt forget to talk about are just some charms from the ovenbreak game, ironically enough both are legendaries! ones a skin though, but whatevers.

dreamweaver cookie really has such a sweet design aside from the skin, but its kind of crazy they were released IN december and just instantly won compared to the other legendaries. i was really hoping for black swan cookie...

the last cookie charms are from what i think is technicallyyy the valentines update for cookie run kingdom, but i think il forever love it for its story and design. so naturally i uh... bought almost every character charm. im sorry caramel arrow cookie :C

im kind of sad mozzerella cookie didnt have any clothing thats actually from where she comes from compared to caramel arrow cookie, which (i recall) is based on korean wedding attires. its disappointing, but at least shes adorbs...

onto some more stuff, madoka magica figures!! theyre actually minifigures, but ever since the release of magia exedra, madoka magica kinda hit me like a train a bit. you probably already know that though, so il just get into the figures.

theyre cute, but from different sets! theyre well detailed for how cheap they are, but i guess my only problem is that they kind of struggle fitting into their stands. sayaka not so much, but madoka? whenever she falls it STRUGGLES to really stay still due to the stand being pretty low. i kind of joked in my head that madoka didnt want to be next to kyubey, which is reasonable. i just wish the stands werent so struggling...

also a neat detail is that, the witch included with sayaka, has mamis head within the tv. its a pretty sad detail that i liked, even if its on the smaller end.

some rubber charms! charlottes minion is one ive wanted for a bit, but the others i got for the heal of it. theyre really, really cute and i wanna get the rest of the charms in that style...

pretty sure ive mentioned that i bought the other mangas, at least for the main oriko side story in japanese, and they came! theyre in good-ish quality, in seperate volumes SURE but theyre nice to show around. i also bought a (THANKFULLY NOT SEXUAL) doujin of kyoko x sayaka. i mainly bought it because it had a witch-like design for sayaka, although it was about kyokos feelings about sayaka when she turned into a witch... thats what i could really gather from it, but it was sweet.

the oriko mangas also came with these really cute prints! at least i think they were prints, but i gotta get a binder for any clear folders or anything flat i like that arent pokemon cards. these are very cute.

some more paradoxart pins that ive kind of always wanted! celebi is just really, really adorable, so im just glad to have more from this artist.

so while i was writing this, i ended up forgetting something else... not that important, but..

my yaoi charms.

i do have more, but since theyre fanmade, i figure i gotta mention the artist. these first two are from trunkyart (who i had mentioned before) with the rodger who FINALLY released. hes adorable, and i love the ship magnet gimmick, and they thankfully both fitted when rodger came. (i also bought shellys trinket enamel pin, but im too lazy to take a photo, im sorry shelly...)

the other two charms ARENT ship related, but they were in stock, and also were really cute, so i bought them anyway. i think the style of them basically having no other covering is cool, and i love rodgers face being transparent- because hes, yknow, a magnifying glass. i havent seen any other rodger charm so far done that gimmick.

the last stuff i got, i admit, are bootleg charms, which... are kind of different, but they were sold in a whole other set. and considering aliexpress is also a selling site, im presuming its an artist who drew all of these and are selling them. i just also liked the gimmick of the epic face... although rodgers the odd one out, which is cute.

anyway, i tried to make an ita bag. not really it isnt an ita bag though. so i tried my best

and now.... for the occassional lot from a proxy service...

tadaa! i got more than one big plush this time!!

il talk about the biggies first (also i dont have a seperate image of them), but they were from the same seller on mercari japan, which was interesting. they still came in excellent quality, both are very soft, and i have no complaints even if they look goofy sometimes.

okay now a dreamie that i SOMEHOW stumbled into finding. the charlotte plush, with a very cute hoodie, from uh.. bandai namco i think? they were listed on another site i cant remember, and promoted as chibi plushies, which took me off that i didnt realize they were bandai items.

she is, im not gonna lie, a really well designed plushie, although the materials kinda took me off. her cute little pouch also doesnt entirely fit, but i can make do! i can probably give it to one of my smaller plushies someday...

some of the last stuff is just some charms i got, which are all pokemon related (go figure). i was lucky to find blacephalon being sold, but alongside stakataka??!?!?! i find it pretty cute since i weirdly "ship" them together, but i already have a stakataka charm, so theyre being sold on my shop. manaphy was also adorable!

and the final charms arent too notable, but i guess il ramble. im glad to have finally gotten the cresselia, AND the lilligant ive been holding of on buying...

although the victini comes from a blind gacha charm set, to promote the newest pokemon center. i have gotten the victini one, but there IS a jirachi charm... which i rarely see be sold, probably because its jirachi whos always oversold at times. the other charms in the set have been sold for like, 8 dollars? i saw a jirachi charm being sold for 22 bucks. What?

thats about it, which probably feels like a mouthful, because i forget and im still a little lazy. also my nose is suddenly running while i was writing this. uhm. stay safe!
