at some point, im going to be forgetting to post here a lot and i can only apologize... i dont know if anyones actively looking at what i got, but still.

april collection updates

when you see a toy or a squishmallow in the usa (or anywhere western, i think) and see that the companys tag is from jazwares, just steal it, begrudingly buy it secondhand, or dont bother buying it. heres an article describing jazwares associations with the idf, with them quite literally funding the idf and in support of soldiers committing genocide. i feel like any normal person would obviously oppose israel, as their actions are nothing short of cruel, but you know. money. billionares.

so anyway, im not gonna bother giving a review on this plush, but its fine, but its owned by jazwares, which should be the big dealbreaker here. youre probably better at buying a togetic sitting cuties or the really adorable christmas plush keychain.

and oh hey, my first kazumi magica volume! i sure do hope the other volumes later on arent stupidly expensive!

im kind of unfortunately waiting on to get enough money to buy the rest of the series, because im usually too impatient to just buy one book, read it, then get disappointed when the story has a cliffhanger. its probably just a me thing though. i do like the art of the series, but it kind of leans on giving baby teenagers skimpy clothes. sorry for not liking characters who are 14 wearing clothes that reveal too much skin drawn by adults who will lie to you about liking that sort of thing.

on another rant, i think i get why some books/manga have labels, but... please.. i dont want my cover to be /covered/ by random labels!!! stop that!! AND they are annoying to take off!! especially since i bought it for my own personal collection!!! bleugh.

if you also see these sort of specific branded figures with the black box packaging and such... they are also owned by jazwares, so either do three things; steal, secondhand, dont buy. i dont have to say much else...

the golisopod "trainer select articulated figure" is eh. i feel its a little too big and the articulation that does exist isnt a lot, and it felt like the parts were all over the place.

deoxys is a little less worse, but maybe thats because its design is a tad more simple, and not big and bulky unlike golisopod. if you wanted its limbs to be flexible, then dont expect anything less. they werent meant to be bended.

i think a big problem is the stands they come with (you can see it in the back of the deoxys picture, im too lazy to take it out for another picture) is that they are too big, honestly. i dont know if im using them properly but i dont even feel like being nice to jazwares by now. my comparsion for these fat bulky stands is nendroid (from goodsmile), and while i think the nendroid stands arent perfect, at least they dont fucking break apart when im just trying to move it around. like for the joints, it makes this Loud clunky sound, and it just was awful in golisopods case.

nothing to add, except i think something really awful should happen to the ceo of jazwares. and, yknow, a certain guy. im not really a threat though, so i dont know if il get jailed for mentioning how i dislike israel.
