february collection updates / 3/10/2026

my favorite hobby is being late to collection updates. anyway, lets dive in!

i mentioned godzilla stuff before, but it feels so long ago that i got this hedorah... its from super7, who make other merchandise, but i just got the plushies.

theyre basically just recolors though of the og versions, but i dont mind... i just wanted hedorah, and it does feel very soft. i think my only con is that the design for hedorah (super7 plush) feels too simplified, but not sure how else you could make hedorah more cuddlier... i think hedorah is cuddly in general, but it depends.

dandy? what are YOU doing here???

for some context, i did end up getting a bit fucked up again, as i ordered a dandy flip 'em (which will be shown later in this blog)... but they just gave me a normal dandy instead. im sure this wasnt purposeful at all though, just an accident, but i got a free dandy too i suppose???

i gotta mention that these are the default plushies- not the deluxe ones, like the one where dandy is holding a tape and such. these ones are meant to be sold in retail, like in walmart or something. i still think the quality is pretty good though! just less posable is all.

the tag is a little silly, though. i guess all dandy merchandise is just gonna put his full name out there, huh?

we're back to godzilla! just for a bit though, sadly. theres actually two kinds of vday mothra in the vday line.. a normal, recolored pink one, and then this one with the special stamp and heart eyes.

i dont remember if the normal vday mothra was in stock, but i kinda like both regardless. also, i just like valentines themed stuff... im a victim to consumerism, unfortunately.

the tag itself is pink themed and cute, but im trying not to keep this stuff unless i like it a lot i suppose? hedorah had the same tag, aside from the name of course.

and heres the dandy flip 'em! its actually a gimmick line from culturefly- the best i could describe them is fidgets you can hold around and such. i didnt get a picture of it, but the dandy comes with a fabric keychain holder you can tie to his butt. thats the best i could describe it.

surprisingly, shelly also got a flip 'em, but none of the other mains. i kind of find it pretty odd, im sure an astro flip 'em or sprout wouldve sold well? it could be because shellys actually fairly popular though, but i wouldnt mind more being made... even if i might not buy them.

also, i thought if youd pressed the head down, the head would switch to another... sort of like a weird button, but you just have to shift the heads around to do so. maybe i just have a specific taste in fidgets however...

and hey, something from acggoods!!

i would mention the shop, but im kind of nervous to do so, as the artist left their main as they got called out for being a bad partner... im fuzzy on the details, but i bought this before i even learnt about that, so im not sure if promoting their art is a good idea. i still find the charm cute though, im just... well, unsure!

lastly, just some mangas i got. im kind of planning on maybe getting tart magica OR kazumi magica at some point, then the rest of the wraith arc or different story. i did read through all of suzune in one sitting, and id personally give it like... a 6/10? is that too mean?? i just have mixed thoughts on it, but its alright.

im just trying to collect most of the made in abyss manga, but just one by one at this point... i guess its a lil' easier, even though ive already watched through all the anime for it (i havent read them yet sadly).
