january collection 2024 updates (and other items ive forgotten to catalog) / 1/31/2024

well hey! its been a while. i havent bought much junk to fill my shelves during 2023 (i was more focused on other things, and then also being distracted). but it'd be nice to reflect back on these months finds and the previous, huh?

this months wasnt much, but i guess you could call it "fairy based".. although one of the pokemons is only a psychic type, but still could fit into that. i had gotten the package protected on accident, costing more.. least i can learn from my mistakes!

the first two items are small, and pretty cheap. i wanted something klefki related that was, well, wasnt a lot of money, and i was lucky enough to find the small plush (plush charm, maybe?) for them! the slurpuff charm i recall was exclusive to the pokecenter, and i wanted another cute charm alongside my palmon on my keys.

and the last newer item is actually a lucky find! i think. one of the reasons why i use buyee real often is how others on there sell items, such as this espurr pokedoll, for much cheaper. any espurr pokedoll i could find in the west being sold was incredibly expensive (with the tag i can understand why), although im sure theres others down there that increase that price.

regardless, im really happy to have the pokedoll. theres the obvious worry that it could be a bootleg, or a really well made bootleg, but im happy regardless with what ive got. espurr is adorable, too! if not a bit blank-thoughted.

now, the other items?

its not much so far, but ive always loved solrock; a little more than lunatone. maybe some other day il get them, but the sitting cuties plush is always a mixed bag for quality.. i say it works well here!

you can see klefki here! one of the plushies for bugs i wanted was wurmple, but i couldnt get it. i was able to make room for scatterbug! i kinda expected the head to be a bit more fatter, but its still a cute design (im hoping for a spewpa plush, or even a blipbug one so they can match). eitherway, i love bugs, so i felt the need to get them.

one of the items i longed for is finally here! its the magiccraft prize figure for mami, and i really adore both bebe and mami tomoes designs (its why i collect them the most, at least right now). the plate for her to stand on is shaped like cheese, which is an adorable (maybe morbid) touch! theres nothing else to say except im incredibly glad to have her in my collection.

so i had gotten two grails this year... honestly i find it incredible, with how stupid expensive this plush is sold at, but it was worth it. i had expected them to be as big as the other UB plushies, but you know what? it was still worth it to just have one of my favorite ultra beasts in my collection.
