june & july collection updates / 8/27/2026

COUGH COUGH. sorry, ive been exhausted as always and busy and lazy to really try and post. and, yknow, busy with real life stuff. but at least i got some shtuff, huh? lets go in!

june collection updates

nothing too major, aside from me finally getting the wurmple pokeplush! thanks, research survey. or whatever you are. i also got stickers (since its fun) but wurmple clearly steals the show. i think its just a solid made plush, if not a little curled in on itself.

i was surprised that roserade got a plush again- and even fomantis and lurantis? as you can see though, lurantis was sold out so i got the fomantis instead. theyre still both adorable though alongside the other plushies in the merch line.

theyre also scented! which was a whiplash when i opened the box and got that pretty floral smell, but it was a lil too strong for me then. even after a few months they STILL have that scent. pretty cool, not sure if theyre gonna have the same scent in a few years and all, but still.

july collection updates

just two more pokefits, since theyre easy to get. im surprised yanma hasnt been sold out on the pokecenter, it was still 10 dollars... unless i missed something happening. for the lileep plush, it always seems to sadly have its tentacles in front of its face, also stands a little awkward. still cute though!

if you noticed the pins, then here they are! i often dont really buy pokemon pins these days (im too focused on plushies) but il probably try to expand my collection. i did find out i really enjoy the pixel pins though, even if theyre small, theyre just... really really cute, i think? and honestly a neat concept to make the small box icons as pins.

i always find it sad that they were eventually phased out though; the box sprites i mean. how come they got them in swordshield but not scarlet violet??? sniffle

i think aliexpress has gotten a better reputation these days (to clarify on that, aliexpress is basically combined with multiple stores, which can also include second hand sellers who sell stuff secondhand. generally, these sites will always have bootleg sellers or scammers in the end), but depending on where you look theres always gonna be the stolen art keychains here and there. but i did order something actually official but i wanted to buy an extra... so i bought this anorith for the hell of it.

if you cant tell, its pretty oddly printed, and is in no way official. i dont know who the original artist is sadly, but id recommend just getting another other sort of keychain on acggoods maybe.

something that happened was that my moms dog ended up getting one of my plushies... and instead of just ending up soggy, she ended up tearing the eyes out, which still kinda pissed me off. i did end up buying another anorith plush as a replacement, but i cant really bring myself to throw the other away- so i (badly) stitched the eyes together and put in some tape.

these are temporary though, because i do wanna put it in an actual cast that i could /try/ to make... i guess its always nice having two plushies, huh?

the jirachi lantern figure is ADORABLE and i always wanted them for a bit, but i think one of the cons is that the figure just... doesnt have any sort of cap, compared to the other figures, so i just find that a little odd (the other figure with joltik and morelull also have this problem) still a worthwhile purchase though.

thats about it for this month, il probably get something a little unexpected on this blog next month, so be a ready freddy! like freddy fazbear
