march collection updates & some rambling / 4/15/2026

happy late birthday to meee! i keep on getting late to posting about stuff, but il try and talk about the stuff i got then ramble about whatever potential future this site has (dont worry, im not shutting it down or anything).

when these mochi plushies were revealed then released, i have ALWAYS wanted them. i think i made it pretty clear when i got swirlix, but not omanyte. in what was probably the most luckiest merch drop, the plushies were eventually released on the US site... probably like, months when they were released. like im not even joking, when i saw them be announced right BEFORE my birthday, i think i lost it a bit.

firstly though, theyre good plushies! very squishable and well made... i think. omanyte though usually has some of the sewing come "off", but not bad enough where the whole plush unravels of course. i cant tell if theres a quality difference with those sold in japan vs america, although the charjabug kind of had the same problem. i just think it depends with how the plushies are made or how hard you cuddle with them, because the solosis and swirlix i have are doing fine.

for the other plushies, ive always been debating on getting the venonat... and honestly, i do not regret it. its so soft and i love it. im surprised they even made venonat in the series where there were other popular pokemon (such as mimikyu and the eeveelutions), but it always feels like when a series of merch is made they always make some sort of 'outlier'. dunno why they do, but venonat felt like the outlier of the set... its still really well made though.

and ive always yearned to have the beautifly pokesit, and now i finally do! i do think its okay quality wise, but they kind of feel not so... well made? in some aspects. or at least not like the product images, anyway. beautifly is becoming one of my favorites, but thats always changing, so...

the last one is twisted dandy! did you know hes posable? i mean, that was marketed when he was sold, so...

anyway, the plush is also very good, like most of the plushies from cultureflys dandys world stuff. its a deluxe plush (and actually first edition) so its probably better quality if one in stores is going to be sold; like walmart, i think they already have dandys world stuff stocked there! and even five below...

i will say if you dont want a posable twisted dandy plush, uhh... i did see someone take the bones out, so its possible, but i think you need to know how to really sew for it. i say this because the joints are pretty loud when posing though, but i dont find it a major concern even if i do cuddle with it. the petals are also posable, which is probably expected for a deluxe plush; but its nice that it carried over from the og dandy plush!

when they released twisted dandy they did release other merch, like an acrylic stand and a cute shirt... i want those so bad...

to end things off, i will say i just did not expect a lot of people to really care about me- or at least remember me when my birthday came around. i still have problems with, er, isolation and loneliness, and i dont think those are ever going to go away at any point. but (unfortunately) on twitter, i think i made too many friends and connections there... somehow. and it all stems back to grace.

grace has gotten into hot shit and ive absolutely criticized it, so maybe il finally lock in and make a blogpost about grace and junk. but for now im just gonna... do whatever, i think. im already working on a roblox game recently with some folks, so i really do hope im able to release it and actually post about it on here.

and if theres anyone still following my site, or still checks if i update... i love you. not like, romantically, but thank you for still being there with me. even if im not super active on it, and generally post once a month, i still like posting on here and having the freedom to do whatever. if you reading this have a birthday coming up, i wish itd be great too!
