may collection updates / 6/8/2025
look, sorry i keep being late. this kinda feel like i gotta do them or else... but i swear theyre fun! i just need to "lock in" more.
anyway, its shorter than usual (because i only had one lot, which i should ONLY have one lot of items), but maybe nexts months will be big! you'll never know.
just a smaller thing before we "dig" in, but i do wanna do a blog on my takes on skylanders (specifically spyros adventure and giants) since i have been replaying them. i just wanna finish giants though, THEN il write out my thoughts then il go to swapforce. like always, im rather lazy, so it might take years or never.
i also originally recorded a video of these, but im just way too shy to post it. also, half of the time was trying to put together a certain figure, so...

i normally show the cookie run charms i buy first, but i ended up getting both packages together, so like. fuck it. im still gonna talk about the charm first though.
its pretty cute! not much said but still rather small, but it feels like all the crk charms end up being pretty... tiny. im not really a fan of that and how they downsize them, but i dont think they really keep track of that honestly.
the other stuff: the swirlix charm was something ive kinda been stalling on buying, since its dirt cheap AND adorable. somehow though i finally did... and im proud. if that makes sense.
the lantern ghost was something i found and wanted due to how cute it was. i Did have to buy them with another item since it came with another item, but youll see it soon... and the holiday applin charm was just "eh, why not?" the back itself is also glittery, which is cute! im just glad it wasnt expensive compared to the plush which i did just buy... was 50 bucks.
the little alcremie was just really cute. i think im warming up to alcremie now... i still want the gmax plush juuuust a bit... i think it was in the same merch line, they were gachapon figures with a milcery.. yknow, its from pokepeace and all. they actually released some cute food themed charms that i may buy...

heres the milcery! theres a lot of gacha figures i feel where they put pokemon in little cups, and i think its cute. otherwise the cetoddle figure was way bigger than i was expecting, but its like. a whale toddler, so dunno what i expected.
the jirachi charm i wasnt expecting to buy, but it was adorable AND cheap! there was also a victini but im unsure whenever or not to grab it, i got no clue.
oh, and the other plush charm that came with the ghost lantern! i think its a wall yokai (i cant be too sure) but i do think its cute.. but i dont really want it. il probably give it to my dad though, but the cutest thing is that it has little fingers. thats such a cute detail!

i think the name of these, at least in a set, were "situation pouch" which is cute! this was a dating sim thing so like.. dunno... i had to put in my yaoi ship. i actually bought another (which were just cake boxed themes i think), theyre probably more suited for little plushies and whatnot.

oh, and it has a little hanger. isnt that adorable?

i really, really loved how these figures look and how excellent they were made when i got them... although the biggest con was quite literally trying to put them together.
a lot of gacha figures let you put things together, like figures, since itd be kind of a bad idea to have the figure put together because it could break. it was the same case as these, and i wouldnt have minded... but i was just really bad at setting them up, or im just unsure if the company that manufactered them didnt realize theyd be pointlessly tough.
because the legs always just kinda popped off, and dont get me started on the antennae... i dont know why it was a good idea to make it so you have to bend thin plastic then connect it to the head, when that little area to put it in is short and makes me feel anxious whenever im holding it!

i did want to collect the rest of the set (if i could), but god i wouldnt want to put the figures together. it makes me want to glue stuff together, which i dont think is a good sign... but i still love the idea of clown beetle shells, really.

ive been buying more goodies than plushies (i think theyre technically under the same category, but whatever) but i only got a few. i still do think these were good finds! say, i didnt even realize the small pokepeace jirachi is holding a little star... adorable.
the tsareena is super on model, but thats expected from san-ei. i just wish some san-ei stuff was less expensive (i got her for like 40 bucks, so)

more gachapon stuff, except for the sayaka, but i do think the torso clothing stuff is really cute for an idea. they do have other series with like, other magical girl franchises, and i dont have much cons except for me wishing they werent so flimsy to put together. also they were way bigger than i expected...

the last item i wanna talk about is this small sayaka figure! i think its cute, not much else to say, but i thought it was gonna be as small as the madoka figure i got... it wasnt. like, compare it to the other sayaka figure i have (with the soul gem), and even without the stand shes wayyy bigger. thats kinda crazy to me. (also the image is kind of blurry whoops)
i do wanna collect both sets of these madoka figures, theyre adorable and (thankfully) cheap... hope i do have the motivation.
thats it for this month. at least collection wise!
